Finance, Investments & Asset Management - Industry

Investment Management is the process of ensuring that a company's tangible and intangible assets are maintained, accounted for, and put to their highest and best use. It refers to the handling of financial assets and other investments—not only buying and selling them. Asset management is the process of developing, operating, maintaining, and selling assets in a cost-effective manner. Most commonly used in finance, the term is used in reference to individuals or firms that manage assets on behalf of individuals or other entities. Investment management services include asset allocation, financial statement analysis, stock selection, monitoring of existing investments, and portfolio strategy and implementation.
