Coleman Andrews is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Owner of RMWC, a proprietary investment enterprise managing funds in equity and credit markets. At RMWC, Coleman manages strategies primarily in private credit markets. He provides a diverse experience gained from serving leadership roles at global companies and several economic and market cycles. Prior to RMWC, he was a Co-founding Partner of Bain Capital, one of the country’s preeminent private equity firms. During his tenure at Bain, he teamed up with Mitt Romney on the successful planning, launch, capital raising, and fund investments of Bain Capital. He climbed the ranks during a key stage in the development of the international strategy consulting firm. He also served for 15 years as a global advisor to Trilantic Capital Partners, a top-decile private equity firm managing $6.0 billion of assets.

Professional Experience


Academic History

  • In 1998, he was recruited by the government of President Nelson Mandela to lead the turnaround of South African Airways.

  • While he was CEO, the market value of South African Airways increased from R1.5 billion to R7.0 billion. 

  • He was Chairman & CEO of World Airways, where he led a successful turnaround while navigating a severe industry recession.

  • He served in The White House where he advanced to a Presidential appointment to the staff of the President's Economic Policy Board.

  • He was appointed to Virginia’s Commission for Citizen Empowerment, which developed the strategy that led to a successful overhaul of welfare policies.

  • At Achungo Children's Center, he participates in teaching, tutoring, and mentoring orphans in Western Kenya, and oversees the strategic and financials of the entity.

  • He is a member of the DAPER Investment Fund, a Stanford University affiliate which directs the investment of approximately $26B.

  • He founded a training trust which awarded and sponsored university scholarships to promising disadvantaged students.

  • He holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University, where he was named an Arjay Miller Scholar.

  • He holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College, High Honors in Economics, magna cum laude, where he was a Rufus Choate Scholar.
