Rob Kapito is the Co-Founder and President of BlackRock, one of the largest investment management companies across the globe. A power center within the world's largest asset manager, Kapito has assumed several senior leadership roles within BlackRock. He is a recognized industry leader in portfolio management, and is a member of BlackRock’s Global Executive Committee and Chairman of the Global Operating Committee. He is also responsible for day-to-day oversight of BlackRock’s key operating units, including Investment Strategies, Client Businesses, Technology & Operations, and Risk & Quantitative Analysis. Prior to founding BlackRock, Kapito was a Vice President of the Mortgage Products Group at First Boston. He is a frequent public speaker on best practices in investment management.
