Peter Lacalamita is Managing Director of Sales and Relationship Management for Thalēs, a technology-driven derivatives brokerage and capital raising firm servicing institutional market participants. In his role, Peter is responsible for developing new relationships for the firm. Peter has extensive experience in driving revenue growth across asset classes including equities, fixed income, futures, OTC clearing, foreign exchange, and prime custody, and has expertise in alternative investments, including liquid alts and cross-selling capital markets products. Peter has a proven track record in originating new business as well as expanding and managing client relationships. Prior to joining Thalēs, he was a Managing Director in Prime Broker Sales at J.P. Morgan and a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns, managing teams, and originating new relationships with hedge funds and institutional investors.

  • Previously, he was the Head of Foreign Exchange for Prudential, where he worked closely with Mr. Solomon and Mr. Cohen.
