Zed Francis
Zed Francis is the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Convexitas, a fiduciary that works with families and institutions to maintain balance and flexibility. In his role, Zed is responsible for the firm's strategy design, implementation, risk management and business development. In his 15-year career in investment management, Zed has held leadership roles that have informed the delivery of consistent and transparent multi- asset solutions as a discretionary fiduciary acting on behalf of institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals. Prior to co-founding Convexitas, he was a Portfolio Manager at SpiderRock Advisors, a leading asset manager providing customized option overlay strategies to advisors and institutions.

EARLY CAREER
Zed was a Portfolio Manager for Legal & General Investment Management America where he managed bespoke LDI assets.
At LGIMA, he executed and risk-managed derivative overlay and asset replication strategies across asset classes.
He also built an alpha-oriented asset replication platform unique to investment characteristics of institutional investors while at LGIMA.
Zed was an Equity and Options Trader for the Chicago Fundamental Investment Partners responsible for the CFIP Short Fund.
At CFIP, he executed equity, equity options, convertible bonds, CDS, corporate bonds, loans, swaptions, and CLO tranches.
Previously, he was a Credit Sales Analyst for UBS where he developed fundamental investment analysis to help clients identify cross-asset investment opportunities.
