Throughout his financial career, John has received continuous recognition from financial periodicals such as Forbes and Barron’s, and was recognized for his achievements in investment consulting with the John Ellis award and Citi Family office appointment. John is also highly involved in his community, serving on the boards of numerous organizations such as Miller Children’s Hospital, The Long Beach Aquarium of The Pacific, and Pacific Coast Sailing Foundation. In addition to his industry accolades, John qualified for both the 1984 and 1988 Olympics in Sailing and captured a bronze medal in Korea in 1988.
