Austin Campbell is Founder and Managing Partner of Zero Knowledge Consulting, a best-in-class boutique consulting firm for blockchain and financial technology. He provides expert advice on strategy, business models, avoiding disruption/disrupting incumbents, and all things payments and stablecoin in the blockchain space. He is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University’s Stern School of Business, where he is the co-creator of the decentralized finance class. Campbell has been in the crypto space since 2018, and has spent two decades in cash stability products, structured fixed income trading, and reinsurance. Previously, Campbell ran the stablecoin platform and portfolio management at Paxos, and was Chief Risk Officer for Paxos National Trust during the licensing stage, primarily responsible for development, implementation, and oversight of the initial risk framework. He has also managed fixed income trading desks at JP Morgan and Citi, covering over $100 billion of cash derivatives.

Campbell was Head of Stable Value Products & Insurance-Linked Solutions & Digital Assets for Rates at Citigroup, where he managed interface between traditional finance and crypto markets.
He also served as a Portfolio Manager and Structurer at Stone Ridge, the parent of NYDIG, where he helped design cash management and traditional lending strategies integrating blockchain technology.
He was Executive Director of Rates Trading at JP Morgan, where he covered stable value wraps, bank-owned life insurance, and other related instruments.
He managed over $100 billion of exotic derivative exposure at the peak across multiple fixed income asset classes.
