Paul Britton is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Capstone Investment Advisors, a global fund manager headquartered in New York City. In this role, he focuses on setting the firm’s strategy, developing its culture, attracting key talent, and overseeing the execution of investment and business functions. He used to establish and manage Mako’s operations in North America, the buyout of which he led to form Capstone in 2004. Britton has more than 20 years of hands-on trading experience across global options and derivatives markets.

Academic History

  • Britton began his career with Saratoga Limited, trading options on the London International Financial Futures and options Exchange.
  • He led the efforts to hold the first annual Global Volatility Summit, an event dedicated to spreading industry knowledge around the value of Volatility strategies to institutional investors.
  • He currently serves on the Boards of the US Soccer Foundation, The Tate America’s Foundation, and Friends Seminary School in New York City.
  • He has appeared as a guest on Real Vision.
