Jim Chanos is the Founder and Managing Partner of Kynikos Associates, the world’s largest investment firm dedicated exclusively to short selling. Renowned as one of Wall Street’s most influential short sellers, Chanos gained global recognition for his prescient bearish bets against Enron and Tesla. Over his distinguished career, Chanos has uncovered and shorted numerous high-profile corporate failures, including Baldwin-United, Commodore International, Coleco, Integrated Resources, Boston Chicken, Sunbeam, Conseco, and Tyco International. His deep expertise in identifying financial fraud, accounting irregularities, and overvalued companies has made him a leading voice in the world of hedge funds and forensic investing.
