Michael Weisz
Michael Weisz is the Co-Founder and CEO of Yieldstreet, the leading private market investing platform. He is responsible for Yieldstreet's investment strategy and originator network and has overseen $2 billion in transactions over his career. Weisz is a seasoned alternative investments expert in asset-based lending and the specialty finance industry. Previously, he has held a variety of leadership positions with Soli Capital and American Medical Concierge. He began his career at a $1.2 billion New York-based credit fund, working his way to Vice President before co-founding his own fund in 2013.

In 2015, Weisz teamed with Milind Mehere to create Yieldstreet.
He co-founded Yieldstreet to provide retail investors with access to curated private alternative investments and make them a fundamental piece of investor portfolios.
Prior to being CEO, he was President of Yieldstreet, responsible for investment strategy, originator network, and investor acquisition.
He has led the firm's investment strategy and product development as well as the strategic vision of Yieldstreet.
In 2019, Yieldstreet was named Inc 5000’s 14th fastest growing company, #1 in NY, and # 1 in Financial Services.
EARLY CAREER
Previously, Weisz was Vice President at a New York-based credit opportunities hedge fund with $1.2 billion under management.
He and his team specialized in asset-based loan transactions between $5 million and $25 million with a niche in the legal finance markets.
He has created access to investments spanning art, real estate, private business credit, litigation, marine financing, and structured notes, previously only available to ultra-high net worth individuals and institutions.
