Dan Zwirn
Dan Zwirn is the Co-Founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Arena Investors, a global investment firm focusing on global special situations asset and credit investments. He co-launched Arena Investors in 2009 to bring creative solutions to those seeking capital in special situations. Throughout his career, Dan has participated in over 3,000 illiquid investments in 25 countries, accounting for over $10 billion. Previously, he founded and led several specialty finance enterprises including Applied Data Finance, a consumer finance company; North Mill Capital, an asset-based lender; and Lantern Endowment Partners, an investment fund.

He was the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of D.B. Zwirn & Co., a $6 billion global special situations firm originally co-founded by, and spun off from, Highbridge Capital Management.
He served as Managing Director and Founder of the Special Opportunities Group at Highbridge Capital Management.
Before that, he founded and created the Special Opportunities Group of MSD Capital, the private investment firm of Michael Dell.
He served as an Associate at Davidson Kempner Capital Management, and Analyst at Madison Dearborn Partners.
He started his career as an Analyst in the Media and Communications Investment Banking Department at Lazard Asset Management.
