Bobby Jain is the Founder, CEO, and Chief Investment Officer of Jain Global, a multi-manager hedge fund and global investment management firm. Recognized as one of the most influential hedge fund managers on Wall Street, Jain brings over three decades of experience in investment strategy, risk management, and capital allocation. Before launching Jain Global in 2024, he served as Co-Chief Investment Officer at Millennium Management, one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers, where he oversaw investment processes, risk management, capital allocation, and multi-strategy operations. Prior to Millennium, Jain spent 20 years at Credit Suisse, holding senior leadership positions including Global Head of Asset Management, Co-Head of Global Securities, and Global Head of Proprietary Trading across equities and fixed income. In July 2024, Bobby Jain launched Jain Global with a record-breaking $5.3 billion in investor commitments, making it the largest hedge fund debut since ExodusPoint in 2018.
The fund attracted backing from some of the world’s most prominent institutions, including the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, as well as leading family offices and university endowments.
Within its first year, Jain Global rapidly scaled to more than 350 employees worldwide, expanding its London headquarters and strengthening its presence across Asia, with new offices in Hong Kong and Singapore.
The firm’s launch and growth have been widely covered by top financial media outlets, including Bloomberg, Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, Forbes, Barron’s, Yahoo! Finance, and USA Today.

Beyond finance, Bobby Jain is a committed philanthropist and education advocate.
He serves on numerous philanthropic and academic boards, including the Harvard Management Company and Cornell University.
He is the Founder and Chairman of the Jain Family Institute (JFI), a non-profit think tank dedicated to applied social science research in areas such as guaranteed income, higher education financing, and digital ethics.
Together with his wife Carola, Jain established the Jain Cornell Promise Scholarship, a $1 million endowment supporting Black students and other underrepresented groups in Cornell’s College of Arts and Sciences.
He also sponsors the Robert Jain Faculty Renewal Professorship at Cornell, furthering academic excellence and diversity initiatives.
