Year

A year is a period of 12 consecutive months or 52-53 consecutive weeks, associated with companies’ financial reports, external audits, and federal tax filings. Business year or fiscal year is used by government, business, and other organizations as reference to calculate their budget, profits, and losses. Financial year is often used in business to compare with the calendar year.
