Rebecca Patterson is a globally recognized investment strategist and macroeconomic researcher with more than 25 years of experience analyzing how politics, public policy, and economic forces shape global financial markets. She is best known for her role as Chief Investment Strategist at Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund, where she helped shape the firm’s research agenda across regions and asset classes. Prior to Bridgewater, Patterson served as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at Bessemer Trust, where she was responsible for overseeing more than $120 billion in invested assets. She also held senior leadership roles at JPMorgan, including Chief Markets Strategist at JPMorgan Asset Management and Global Head of Foreign Exchange and Commodities for the JPMorgan Private Bank, advising institutional and private wealth clients on global markets, currencies, and commodities.
