Yuri Khodjamirian is Chief Investment Officer for Tema ETFs, an institutional-grade ETF issuer specialized in thematic investing. Yuri is a top-ranked equity analyst and fund manager with over 12 years of investment experience in global markets. Prior to joining Tema, he spent 10 years at Majedie Asset Management, where he grew the UK Income Fund from £300m to a staggering £1.5 billion. His team gained their edge by spending time on the shop floor of the companies they invested in. He later set up his own long-only fund, Mountain Pass Capital, a start-up asset management firm.

Yuri spent over a decade at Majedie Asset Management managing UK and Global portfolios.
As co-manager of the Majedie UK Income Fund, he helped build the fund from startup stage to one of the best-performing funds in the sector, with +150% total return in six years, +53% relative to the UK All-Share Index.
He conducted macroeconomic and equity strategy research. He also researched companies in the UK, US, EU and Japan.
In addition, he led a team to build industry leading quantitative and qualitative research systems.
