Shehzad Qazi is Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of China Beige Book, the creator of the largest private in-country, data-collection network ever developed to track the Chinese marketplace. Since 2012, he has helped develop data collection for the China Beige Book™ platform and supervised the analytics team. Qazi is a public opinion researcher specializing in crisis and transitional countries. He has written extensively on U.S. foreign policy in Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, the Taliban insurgent movements, and U.S. counterinsurgency. Prior to joining CBB, he worked at a strategic public opinion research firm and conducted market intelligence polling in emerging and frontier economies. He was also a Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Global Policy, a non profit and non-partisan think tank in Washington D.C.
