Milton Berg is the Founder and Chief Investment Strategist of Milton Berg Advisors, a premiere global macro research and consulting company. He established the firm in 2012 to cater the demand for high quality research with a historical, technical, and macro focus. In his roles, he provides clients with timely and actionable recommendations on trading given market environments, and integrates historical data using fundamental, macro, economic, and technical factors to offer a comprehensive view on the financial markets. Milton started his financial services career in 1978, with an extensive background on the buy side. He has been a top market strategist and timer for over 40 years, and has worked with well-known hedge fund titans, including Michael Steinhardt, George Soros, and Stanley Druckenmiller. Prior to founding MB Advisors, Milton held senior portfolio management and research positions at Duquesne Capital, Soros Management, and was a managing partner at Steinhardt management.

He develops strategy pieces and presents major investment ideas — highlighting individual stock ideas from time to time.

EARLY CAREER & EXPERTISE
Milton began his career as a Commodities Analyst and Trader at Swiss-based Erlanger and Company.
In 1980, he was a Fund Manager at First Investors Corp., and managed a natural resource Fund as well as an option writing Fund.
In 1984, he moved to Oppenheimer and managed three mutual funds which were each ranked as the top performer over a five-year period by Lipper.
Milton then became a Partner at Steinhardt, one of the earliest hedge funds on Wall Street.
Milton has held a Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 1979.
He has developed an extensive collection of proprietary indicators, incorporating research from all disciplines to analyze trends in equities and other asset classes.

The Institute for Economic Research named Milton as the Mutual Fund Manager of the Year in 1987 given his performance during the crash.
