  • Lipman began her career reporting for The Wall Street Journal, becoming its first woman deputy managing editor and supervising coverage that won three Pulitzer Prizes. 
  • She created the paper’s Weekend Journal and Personal Journal sections and oversaw the creation of the Saturday edition. 
  • Under her leadership, the USA TODAY NETWORK was awarded three Pulitzer Prizes and had an additional three Pulitzer finalists. 
  • She has been a judge for the Pulitzer Prize, the National Magazine Awards, and the Loeb Awards.
