Bill Stromberg is the President and Chief Executive Officer of T. Rowe Price. As a member of the Board, he brings exceptional insight into the critical investment components of the business based on the leadership roles he has held and his over 33 years of career with the Company. Stromberg also serves as the Chairman of the firm's Management Committee and Management Compensation Committee.

  • Prior to joining the firm in 1987, he was employed by Westinghouse Defense as a systems engineer
  • He also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
  • He currently serves on the Johns Hopkins University Board of Trustees and the Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering Advisory Council.
  • He previously served nine years on the Catholic Charities Board of Trustees, with two years as Board president.
  • While at Hopkins, he became one of Johns Hopkins Blue Jays' most decorated athletes of all time, setting long-standing records for both the baseball and football teams.
  • Beyond Hopkins, he is considered to be one of the best wide receivers in NCAA Division III history as the holder of six national and thirteen school records.
  • Stromberg was inducted into the Johns Hopkins Hall of Fame and then the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004, and was, as of 2017, the only Hopkins football player to be inducted there.
  • After graduation, Stromberg signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles, played a few preseason games before pulling a hamstring, and was ultimately cut before the 1982 season began.
