Mark Hart is the CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Corriente Advisors, a global macro investment advisor that currently manages funds focused on Europe and China. Throughout his career, Mark has developed a unique process and reputation for identifying potentially powerful macro and investment trends and opportunities ahead of consensus. Prior to forming Corriente Advisors, he was a Founder, Principal, and Managing Director of Tarpon Advisors. Mark earned a sizable return on his positions during the 2008 subprime mortgage crisis - one of the single best performances of that downturn.
