Libby Cantrill is Managing Director and Head of Public Policy for PIMCO. She analyzes policy and political risk for PIMCO's portfolio management group and leads policymaker engagement and policy strategy for the firm. She also works closely with PIMCO’s Global Advisory Board, is the Co-Head of the firm’s New York Office, and is a Founding Member of PIMCO Parents and PIMCO Women. Cantrill has over 20 years of investment experience. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2007, she served as an aide in the U.S. House of Representatives, and she began her career in the investment banking division at Morgan Stanley. She is also a regular contributor to Bloomberg and CNBC.

Cantrill works closely with PIMCO’s Global Advisory Board, led by former Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke.
She is a Founding Member of PIMCO Parents, an initiative focused on supporting parents and families, and PIMCO Women, whose mission is to attract, retain and develop women.
Prior to her current role, she served as the firm's Executive Vice President, helping coordinate PIMCO's response to public policy issues and analyzing policy and political events for the firm's Investment Committee.
