Cosmo Jiang
Cosmo Jiang is a General Partner at Pantera Capital, one of the world’s largest and most established investment firms focused on digital assets and blockchain technology. He serves as Portfolio Manager for Pantera’s liquid strategies, working alongside founder Dan Morehead. Jiang is widely regarded as a leading fundamental investor in crypto, bringing more than five years of digital asset investing experience and over a decade in traditional finance. Prior to joining Pantera Capital, Jiang was the Founder and Managing Partner of Nova River, a Web3-focused crypto investment fund. He also served as a Managing Director at Hitchwood Capital Management, a fundamental, thesis-driven long/short equity hedge fund, where he led consumer and internet investments. Earlier in his career, Jiang worked in private equity at Apollo Global Management and in mergers and acquisitions at Evercore Partners, building a strong foundation in institutional investing and financial analysis. Beyond his role at Pantera Capital, Jiang serves as a Board Member and Board Observer for Solana Company.

EARLY CAREER
Before joining Pantera Capital, Cosmo Jiang built a diverse background across digital assets, public equities, and investment banking.
He previously served as Managing Partner at Nova River, where he managed a long-biased digital asset fund grounded in a fundamental, thesis-driven investment approach with a multi-year time horizon.
Prior to that, Jiang was a Managing Director at Hitchwood Capital, where he led consumer and internet investments at a fundamental long/short equity hedge fund.
Earlier in his career, Jiang worked as a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst at Evercore Partners, a leading global independent investment banking advisory firm, gaining deep experience in corporate finance and deal execution.
He has also held a strategy role at a stealth decentralized finance startup and remains an active personal investor in the Web3 ecosystem, further strengthening his hands-on perspective in blockchain and digital assets.
