Paulo Rodrigues is Chief Executive Officer of Public Mint, the first fiat-native blockchain settlement later for programmable money. Prior to joining Public Mint, he was CEO of a blockchain R&D center, global blockchain business developer and Head of a SWIFT service bureau at a clearinghouse and payment processor. Paulo is a seasoned payments professional with over 20 years of experience in the wholesale and retail payments industry. He has a wide range of expertise in different areas as well as valuable insights regarding the financial industry and payment infrastructures. Additionally, Paulo is a Blockchain Community Expert at Portugal Fintech, a fintech-centric network rising the potential of the Portuguese scenario as a fintech venture hub.

Paulo has more than a decade of experience in strategy and sales, management and product development.
He was CEO of IntellectualEU's Portuguese Offices and Global Blockchain Business Development Manager.
He was Head of the Portuguese SWIFT Service Bureau, Strategist and Product Analyst and Head of the Portuguese DLT Banking WG.
He led Swift's operations service bureau technical support and business processes outsourcing for payment instruments operations.
