Jonathan Sherry
Jonathan Sherry is the Co-Founder and CEO of Alium, the leading buyer intelligence platform for decision makers. Prior to launching Alium, he was Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of CB Insights, an AI super analyst for market intelligence. He built and led CB Insights to what it is today: one of the venture industry's preeminent sources of research and intelligence. Before that, he pioneered the $50 million Chairman’s Innovation Fund at American Express, a fund set aside for AmEx to invest in disruptive business models complementary to the payments space. In addition to Alium, Sherry is an active investor and board member in tech companies and venture growth funds with an emphasis on enterprise software.

As COO, his experience ranged from executing to overseeing just about every critical part of the business spanning sales to marketing to engineering to data to executive recruiting to finance to human resources.
Under his leadership, CB Insights gained tens of millions in revenue and a team of over 250 employees.
He led CB Insights to empower Fortune 500 executives to seize opportunities within emerging technology and use them to their advantage before they become competitive threats.
EARLY CAREER
Sherry led the pioneer launch of AmEx's $50 million Chairman's Innovation Fund. Under his leadership, Fortune honored AmEx's fund as the Most Admired for Innovation.
He served as a Portfolio Advisor at Pilot Growth Equity, where he assisted Pilot’s portfolio in areas of growth and operations.
He worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, where he advised the world's largest financial institutions on internal expansion opportunities.
He also led Merrill Lynch and MBNA business teams to successful launch of a joint venture credit card that reached over 100,000 clients in its first eight months of production.
Throughout his career, he has invested in numerous tech startups and venture funds in the enterprise software space.
