Daniel Peris is Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Head of Strategic Value Dividend Team at Federated Hermes, one of the largest investment management firms specializing across a wide array of asset classes. In his role, Daniel is responsible for portfolio management and research in the global equity area, and the strategic value dividend suite of products of $25B in dividend-focused portfolios. Before transitioning into asset management, Daniel was a historian focused on modern Russian history. He was a Fulbright-Hays scholar in the former Soviet Union, and held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Hoover Institute at Stanford. In addition, he is the author of three books in capital markets, and the host of the Keep Calm and Carry On Investing podcast.
