Chris Akbari
Chris Akbari is the President and CEO of ITEX, a private real estate investment, development, and management firm. In his role, Chris focuses on the growth, strategy, operational efficiency and investments for the firm. He also serves on the Investments Team, is a member of the Investments Committee, and directs the Construction, Development, Investment, and Management divisions. Since joining ITEX in 2005, the firm has grown from 1,800 to 8,000 units with investments in commercial, multi-family, retail, single-family neighborhoods, and raw land. Under his leadership, ITEX currently owns and manages over $500 million in assets throughout Texas, Louisiana, and Colorado. Chris is currently the CEO of ICON Builders, a leading tech-oriented, construction services firm that has extensive history in the construction aspect of real estate.
