Alyona Minkovski is an award-winning media professional and communications strategist with over 10 years of experience in journalism across television, web video, and documentary as well as writing original reporting and commentary. She is well versed on issues of U.S. politics, foreign policy, national security, civil liberties, gender equality, criminal justice, whistleblowers, and media analysis. She has interviewed some of the world's top thinkers and most controversial figures, including President Jimmy Carter, Senator Bernie Sanders, General Stanley McChrystal, Paul Krugman, Joseph Stiglitz, Chris Hedges, and many others.

  • She is the daughter of Irina Rodnina, an Olympic figure skating champion and current Russian legislator.

JOURNALISM

  • She has interviewed a long list of celebrities and musicians, including Oliver Stone, Julianne Moore, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
  • She was the first journalist to interview Julian Assange after the release of Wikileaks’ first video “Collateral Murder” in April of 2010.
