Occidental College is among the most distinctive urban liberal arts colleges in the country. Established by members of the Presbyterian Church, Occidental College is one of the longest-running institutions of its kind in the state and has established a high profile for itself in the region. Students can choose from over 30 undergraduate majors, with the most popular including economics, biology and diplomacy and world affairs.
