The International Energy Agency (IEA) is a global energy authority. An autonomous intergovernmental organization based in Paris, IEA provides data, analysis, and solutions on all fuels and all technologies. With analysis built upon a foundation of activities and focus areas including data and statistics, training, innovation and international cooperation, the IEA promotes energy efficiency, international collaborations, energy security, data and statistics, and data collaboration. The IEA’s work is also informed by a variety of partnerships with business and industrial partners from all sectors, who provide valuable input into the agency’s work.
