Stanley Kogelman is the Founder and President of Delft Strategic Advisors and Principal at Advanced Portfolio Management. Kogelman has been active in the financial industry since 1985, and has advised clients on a wide range of issues related to asset allocation, manager selection, portfolio construction, and equity valuation. He served as Managing Director at J.P. Morgan, where he also served as the co-head of a multi-manager investment advisory group and Head of the Due Diligence team. Before that, he was Managing Director and Head of Private Client Research and Strategy at Goldman Sachs, and Director of Quantitative Research at Salomon Brothers. He has also held senior-level positions in mathematics at the State University of New York at Purchase, Baruch College, and New York University's Courant Institute. Kogelman is the author and co-author of over 60 articles on finance, has received two Graham and Dodd Awards and published two books jointly with Martin Leibowitz.

EARLY CAREER

  • At J.P. Morgan, Kogelman oversaw the investment process, monitoring performance and establishing customized asset allocations.

  • He wrote several pioneering books on mathematics education, including "Mind Over Math" and "The Only Math book You'll Ever Need."
