Royce Yudkoff is the MBA Class of 1975 Professor of Management Practice of Entrepreneurial Management at the Harvard Business School, and Co-founder and Managing Partner of Abry Partners, one of the most experienced and successful sector-focused private equity investment firms in North America and Europe. Over the last few years, he and Richard Ruback have been developing and teaching a new second-year case course, “The Financial Management of Smaller Firms,” and a field course, “Entrepreneurship through Acquisition,” both of which are focused on the entrepreneurial acquisition of smaller firms. Recently, Ruback and Yudkoff published their book, HBR Guide to Buying a Small Business. Prior to launching Abry, he was responsible for Bain & Company's media practice.

Prior to the merger of Metrocall and Arch Wireless, he had been a Director of Metrocall and has served as the Chair of its Board.
He served on the Board of Muzak Holdings, LLC from 2002 to 2009, and Talent Partners from 2000 to 2014.
He also served on the Board of MediaOcean, LLC from 2014 to 2015, and Nexstar Broadcasting Group, Inc. from 1996 to 2014.
