Mathias Ruch
Mathias Ruch is the Founder and CEO of CV VC, a private blockchain venture capital firm, and the global innovation hub of CV VC, CV Labs. In these roles, he manages a portfolio of over 75 startup investments and a global Web3 ecosystem builder. Ruch has been in the digital startup scene for over 20 years and is a driving force behind the development of the global blockchain startup ecosystem. He is one of the most influential people in Switzerland and the initiator of the Swiss Blockchain Federation, leading the internationalization of Switzerland’s blockchain expertise. Prior to joining the blockchain space, Ruch built and exited several successful online and media companies.

EARLY CAREER
As an entrepreneur, Ruch has founded, managed, and successfully exited several successful online and media companies, such as FaroTV and Europe’s crowdsourcing pioneer Atizo.
He co-founded the Swiss Blockchain Federation, where he serves as a Board Member and Chairman of the Expert Council.
During the dot-com boom in the late 90’s, he founded a web design agency and developed community tools for corporations such as Swiss Post.
