Edward Mulé is Chief Executive Officer and Portfolio Manager of Silver Point Capital, a private investment firm he co-founded in 2002. Prior to this, he worked for more than 16 years at Goldman Sachs. Mule, together with Silver Point Capital Co-Founder Robert O’Shea, built and led the company's distressed debt and special situation lending businesses. He also established a senior secured, special situation lending business in 1996 while at Goldman Sachs. Earlier in his career, Mulé was an investment banker specializing in a number of areas, including telecommunications, consumer products, and forest products.

  • Mulé worked for Jon Corzine and Henry Paulson in 1994 and Robert E. Rubin and Stephen Friedman from 1991 to 1994 in the Office of the Chairman.
