Brad is a legendary venture capitalist, early-stage investor, entrepreneur, and an innovative voice in the tech community for over 35 years. He has written a number of books as part of the Startup Revolution series and is a speaker on the topics of venture capital investing, entrepreneurship, and mental health. Brad began his journey in tech and venture capital in the ‘80s and has since become a respected and influential figure in the industry.
He is a nationally-recognized speaker on the topics of venture capital investing and entrepreneurship.
Some of his notable investments include Fitbit, Zynga, and MakerBot.
He has authored more than a dozen books and regularly shares his insights in the Feld Thoughts blog.
He is also an art collector and long-distance runner. He has completed 28 marathons as part of his mission to finish a marathon in each of the 50 states.
EARLY CAREER
Prior to co-founding Foundry Group, Brad co-founded Mobius Venture Capital and, prior to that, founded Intensity Ventures, a company that helped launch and operate software companies.
Previously, Brad served as Chief Technology Officer of AmeriData Technologies.
He co-founded Feld Technologies and had grown it into one of Boston's leading software consulting firms prior to its acquisition.
He also directed the diversification into software consulting at AmeriData, a $1.5 billion publicly-traded company which was acquired by GE Capital in 1995.
