Vanguard Short-Term Corporate Bond ETF offers exposure to investment-grade corporate bonds falling towards the short end of the maturity spectrum, thereby delivering a moderate amount of credit risk but limiting exposure to rising interest rates. The Fund seeks to track the performance of the Barclays Capital U.S. 1-5 Year Corporate Bond Index, a market-weighted bond index with a short-term dollar-weighted average maturity. VCSH provides a diversified exposure to the short-term investment grade U.S. corporate bond market, including U.S. dollar-denominated, investment-grade, fixed-rate, taxable securities issued by industrial, utility, and financial companies, with maturities between 1 and 5 years.
