Louisiana State University is one of only 30 universities nationwide holding land-grant, sea-grant and space-grant status. LSU offers more than 225 fields of study, as well as several pre-health programs. Some of the most popular are biological sciences, kinesiology, and mechanical engineering. It is also home to one of the nation’s most dominant athletic programs.
