iShares ESG MSCI USA ETF
The iShares ESG Aware MSCI USA ETF, ESGU, is a solid, low-cost strategy that modestly tilts toward firms with strong environmental, social, and governance practices while mitigating active risk. The investment seeks to track the investment results of the MSCI USA Extended ESG Focus Index, a benchmark composed of U.S. companies that have positive environmental, social and governance characteristics as identified by the index provider while exhibiting risk and return characteristics similar to those of the parent index. ESGU seeks similar risk and return to the MSCI USA Index with a more sustainable outcome, and can be used to build a sustainable equity portfolio for the long-term.
