Santiago Velez
Santiago Velez is the Co-founder and Division Lead of R&D at Block Digital Corporation, a leader in blockchain-enabled permissionless, decentralized ecosystems computing. Velez has a 20-year background in nuclear engineering, power generation, procurement, and construction. He also has experience in entrepreneurial startups and project management of assets over $50M. Velez got interested in the digital assets space in 2016, and has since become an advocate and expert in digital assets and blockchain technology. In addition, he is the Co-Founder and Head of R&D at Sindric, where he advises for the management of digital assets, and scalable deployment of Web3 for enterprise customers. He also acts as a technology advisor for the Sindric Solutions platform focusing on decentralized ledger technologies, digital assets, NFTs, and smart contract capabilities.
