Julius Krein is a conservative political writer and editor best known as the founder of American Affairs, a quarterly journal of policy and political thought. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian, The Times Literary Supplement, and other publications. During the 2016 U.S. presidential election, he was a contributing writer and site administrator for a pro-Trump blog, Journal for American Greatness. Previously, Julius had a career in finance, working for Bank of America and the Blackstone Group.
