Eric Malchow is Chief Executive Officer of Lincoln International North America and Managing Director of the firm. Eric joined Lincoln International at its founding in 1996 and has been at the forefront of adding new and complementary services and products to the firm’s portfolio. He manages many of the firm’s key relationships, executes select M&A transactions, and has been involved in the formation of a robust financial sponsors coverage model and group. In addition, Eric oversees the management and operations of the firm and has been instrumental in its growth and strategy since its founding. He fosters career development opportunities within the firm through actively coaching, mentoring and challenging his colleagues to reach their full potential. Throughout his 30-year investment banking career, Eric has provided mid-market mergers and acquisitions advisory services for leading private equity groups and publicly-traded corporations.
Eric’s leadership has been fundamental in building Lincoln’s US Industrials team, making the firm the top mid-market advisor in the industrial sector.
He has been essential in developing Lincoln’s best-in-class financial sponsor coverage, and is active in coordinating the firm’s activities with the private equity community.
He provides strategic guidance for Lincoln’s Capital Advisory Group, comprising debt advisory and special situations advisory services.
His foresight about the vast opportunity to advise private equity investors has led to an increase of 40% in private equity-backed transactions at Lincoln.
His experience includes numerous cross-border transactions and advising on the sale and acquisition of companies that are market-leading.

Prior to co-founding Lincoln, Eric was a Senior Associate at Peers & Co., and was an Officer with Heller Financial.
At Heller, he concentrated on leveraged buyout financings of mid-market companies on behalf of private equity groups.
He earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA from the University of Iowa.
