David Siemer
David Siemer is the Chief Executive Officer of Wave Financial, a leading crypto asset manager and provider of digital asset management solutions. David is also the Co-founder of Wavemaker Partners and Wavemaker Genesis. Wavemaker is the most active investor in Southern California and Southeast Asia, having made investments in over 300 companies, and includes over seven funds with AUM of $300m in the US and Southeast Asia which have all posted top-decile returns. Previously, he was the Founder of Siemer & Associates, a tech-focused investment bank acquired by CEC Capital. A leader in the crypto space, David has spent his career leveraging his deep understanding of technology and enterprise building to help tech companies reach their full potential throughout their life cycle. David founded and managed Siemer & Associates in 2007, and became one of the largest boutique i-banks focused on cross border M&A.
He held multiple roles at Montgomery & Co., where he served as a key member of the digital media investment banking group.
At Montgomery, he led sales to major media companies such as News Corp, Google, Sony, Yahoo!, Hearst, Viacom, WPP and Disney.
He also had extensive experience managing equity private placements from multiple venture capital firms and hedge funds.
He managed venture capital investments at Desco capital, and was a senior analyst at Desco Investment Group.
