The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is the first university in Israel. Today, there are over 23,000 students enrolled at the university, including undergraduates, master's degree students, and doctoral candidates. In addition to the regular classes, Hebrew University also offers special track programs in the following content areas: Dynamics of the Middle East, Journalism and Media Studies, Bioengineering and Systems Biology, and Film Studies.
