Hollins University is one of the oldest women’s colleges in the country that offers a comprehensive liberal arts education to young women. Although it is a women’s college, graduate programs are co-ed. Students can choose from 29 majors; popular programs include biology, business, and English. Hollins offers a January Term that allows students to intern, study abroad, or complete an independent study project.
