Michah Dowbak, better known as Mad Dog Jones, is a multidisciplinary artist and established NFT creator in the areas of interweave cyberpunk, dystopian imagery exploring themes of beauty, nature and technology. Ever since Michah’s first drop, the artist has garnered worldwide attention. His first NFT drops of 100 pieces were sold for a dollar each, and his subsequent drops were sold and resold for more. Michah’s digital art illustrations, rendered in neon-accented colors and fine line work, portray his trademark cyberpunk dystopia. His characters, drawn heavily from Japanese animation and sci-fi movies, are set in an Asian metropolitan aesthetic, particularly inspired by Tokyo. Over the past three years, Michah has worked with Maroon 5, Diesel, Run The Jewels, Jabbawockeez, Chromeo, Conor McGregor, and Deadmau5, among others.

CRYPTO AND NFT CAREER

  • Michah is a headliner in the first major NFT art exhibition at UCCA Center for Contemporary art in Beijing.

  • Crash + Burn series brought in $3,900,000 in 24 hours. Boardwalk, the highest selling piece, reached $388,888, making him the highest-grossing NFT artist to date.

  • He launched his first NFT drop on Nifty Gateway when he sold 100 pieces for $1 each.

  • For his next drop, he collaborated with six-time Grammy Award winner musician Deadmau5.

  • The duo released 4 NFT-backed audiovisual artworks titled Hypervision. The collection grossed $66,717.66.

  • Michah's REPLICATOR, available with Phillips, has some unique features and includes seven unique generations of artworks.

  • He was hailed as NFT royalty after he sold an NFT titled REPLICATOR for $4.1 million in August 2021.

  • Michah started his career as a musician collaborating with Thunder Bay artists, including Coleman Hell and La+ch.
