Mark Ritchie is a market wizard and seasoned commodities trader with deep roots in Chicago's financial exchanges, notably the Chicago Board of Trade and Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry and was one of the original co-founders of Chicago Research and Trading, once the largest option firm in the industry. Beyond his trading career, Ritchie is an author and philanthropist. He has traveled extensively throughout the third world as an amateur anthropologist with a special interest in the poor.

Ritchie started trading in 1987 with a $1M account and generated a 50% annual return over his first four years.
He co-founded Chicago Research and Trading alongside his brother Joe Ritchie. CRT became one of the largest options firms in the industry.
He is also the author of two books, God in the Pits and Spirit of the Rainforest.
His philanthropic efforts include serving on the boards of Warm Blankets Orphan Care International and Southern Evangelical Seminary and Bible College.
