Brooker Belcourt
Brooker Belcourt is the Founder and CEO of Covey, the first-of-its-kind global community dedicated to identifying and rewarding the world's next generation of top money managers. He built Covey as a personal tool to simulate and track his own portfolio strategies and led its development to become a blockchain-based community for retail investors that aims to democratise investing. Belcourt is a former hedge fund analyst with extensive experience in the investment industry. Previously, he was an analyst at Citadel, where he managed a $100 – $300m fintech/internet portfolio within a broader $1bn consumer portfolio. Before that, he managed investments for Coatue, Goldman Sachs, Kang Global Investors, and more.
EARLY CAREER
Belcourt was an analyst for Kang Global Investors, a long-short equity hedge fund founded by Richard S. Kang in partnership with Julian Robertson and Tiger Management.
Before that, he was an analyst for one of the largest tech-focused hedge funds in the world at Coatue Management.
He was an associate within the financial institutions' investment banking group at Goldman Sachs.
He also built comprehensive models and prepared management presentations for clients within the financial technology, banks, insurance, asset management, and specialty finance verticals.
