Andrew McDermott

Andrew McDermott is the Founder and President of Mission Value Partners, a firm that manages a concentrated portfolio consisting primarily of Japan-related public equities. Mission Value Partners favors smaller-capitalization companies that focus on Japanese markets that return significant capital to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases, or that are beneficiaries of industry consolidation. Prior to founding his firm, Andrew was a senior investment professional at Southeastern Asset Management, Inc. and co-managed the Longleaf Partners International Fund offered by Southeastern Asset Management for approximately eleven years.
