Steve Miley is Founder, CEO and Chief Analyst of The Market Chartist, a multi-award winning provider of daily technical analysis and commentary. He is also the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of TradeDay, an education, mentoring, and funding platform for anyone interested in becoming a funded trader. In addition, he serves as the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of FXExplained, an FX and trading information website. He is also a Senior Investment Advisor for Bullseye Financial, a specialized asset and investment management company. Miley has three decades of financial market experience, including 10 years of trading futures, FX, and CFDs. Before that, he was Director of the FX technical analysis Research Strategy team at Credit Suisse and spent 15 years at Merrill Lynch, most recently as Vice President and Technical analyst.

EARLY CAREER

He was an Academic Dean for The London School of Wealth Management, and a Senior Lecturer and Mentor at London Academy of Trading.
During his time at academia, he was responsible for developing academic programs and a range of courses.
He was Director of Technical Analysis at Vega Insight, focused on AI and machine learning in global commodity markets.
He was Director of Research at Reik Media, where he created the entire content for the 2017 launch of StockBrokers.com - Europe, an annual online Broker review.

CREDIT SUISSE

He spent 3 years as a Director of the Technical Analysis Research Strategy team, responsible for managing the FX division, G10 and EM currencies.
He also covered all major asset classes including rates and credit, equity indices, and commodities.
During his time at Credit Suisse, he won the technical Analyst Magazine Award
for Best FX Research & Strategy 2012.

He spent 15 years at Merrill Lynch, where he most recently served as Vice President and Technical Analyst.
He also served as Vice President of Derivatives Sales, where he managed the Italian Futures desk on LIFFE.
He was also responsible for a four-man team, where they consistently produced high volume sales from both in-house and external clients.
