Jeremy Grantham is the Co-Founder of GMO, an investment management firm based in Boston, MA. He holds several roles in GMO, serving as its long-term investment strategist and as an active member of the firm's Asset Allocation division and its Board of Directors. Prior to this, Grantham co-founded Batterymarch Financial Management in 1969 where he recommended commercial indexing in 1971, one of several claims to being first. Grantham is recognized as one of the best asset managers in the world. He is also well-known as a highly knowledgeable investor in various segments such as various stock, bond, and commodity markets.
