Stephen Dubner
Stephen Dubner is an award-winning author, prolific journalist, and a TV and radio personality, best known for his international bestselling series, Freakonomics. Written with University of Chicago economist Steven Levitt, Freakonomics has become a worldwide phenomenon, selling more than 7 million copies in more than 40 countries. Dubner maintains www.freakonomics.com, which has been called “the most readable economics blog in the universe.” He is also the host of Freakonomics Radio, which is heard by millions and gets 15 million monthly downloads around the globe. The success of the first book has made him an in-demand television guest, with appearances on all the major news and current affairs shows.

It made numerous "books of the year" lists, a few "books of the decade" lists, and won a variety of awards.
